E3 Conference EA: Fe

Small indie game, Fe announced by EA during EA Originals segment new initiative by EA to help indie studios develop games.

EA Originals is a new initiative that EA is launching to support small studios. They hope to unveil a couple indie games per year. All profit from the games will go back into their respective studios to help them create and grow as a studio.

Last year at E3 we met a game called Unravel which was the first game from the EA Originals program. This time we are introduced to a new game from a twenty person studio called Zoink Games from Gothenburg Sweden. The new game is called, Fe.

Fe is a personal narrative on the relationship with nature, in the game everything is connected with sound. The world is threatened by a group of enemies called "The Silent Ones." You play as a young fox cub to protect the forest from, "The Silent Ones" by using unique songs gained from other animals in the forest. 

Fe is very reminiscent of the game Journey, and Flower in its art design and game mechanics. Fe currently doesn't have a release date. The previous EA Originals game Unravel, was released eight months after its E3 reveal last year. Perhaps we will see it early 2017.
